These were locations, areas, and regions in North America that have been depicted (or, at least, plausibly depicted) on Prehistoric Planet.
During the Maastrichtian Era, North America was split in half by a shallow, inland sea known as the Western Interior Seaway, with the large landmass of Appalachia in the east, and the thinner landmass of Laramidia in the west, where most of the North American segments take place. Ironically, despite being larger, due to the relative obscurity of life in Appalachia, no segments featured on Prehistoric Planet (or most other documentaries, for that matter) take place here.
